One of my preps just saved me a lot of pain.

So I was just out for a quarter day jog/hike 7 or so hours so I was/am sore from that but my big toe nails were a little loose to begin with as they regrow every now and then... but it rained heavy and my footwear choice was bad, three pairs of socks but the shoes got wet so my feet got pretty saturated in the rain and wet ground cover - leather shoes but not waterproof. None the less you can probably see where this is going... so as I drink some post workout at the sink I move my foot and it hits the cupboard, out of no where pain from my big toe and slight fluid/blood is noticable.

Wow nails being ripped off is pretty heavy pain onset..

none the less I had lidocaine style spray in with my medical preps... and a couple sprays, little fizz, and I only had to deal with the noticable burning pain for a 30 seconds or so. I can feel sort of feel it throbbing with pressure but the burning deadenedas the spray fizzed and went under the nail. Hopefully in an hour or so I will not notice the pain come back.

So yes, lidocaine spray for the win... a topical goes a long way.

Just had a massive use for a prep I barely ever get any use out of... this one saved me a lot of pain.

Highly recommended if you don't have it.

Now I need to decide if I want to perform surgery on it by yanking or cutting it off with a prespray. Going to wait till I wake up to see how much skin is holding it on.

(As I side note, I think it was fatefull as I was almost joking the last mile or two that pain draws the weakness from the body, as a Spartan allusion., said it three times then the nail accident... ) Lidocaine draws the pain from the body's weakness.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
