Optic recommendations for .300 Win Mag

Another thread had me re-examine my .300 Win Mags of which I have several. None of them sport optics allowing me to fully utilize their 1200 yard max range capabilities. These rifles are specifically for long range shooting, so they beg for optics that can achieve this.

Thankfully, optics are not in high demand and I can order with a click of a button.

I'm thinking something in the order of 4-12 x 50mm or thereabouts. Maybe 6-18 x 50mm.

I do have an extra Vortex 4-12 x 44mm sitting here I could mount on one of my .300 Win Mags. So that might take care of one...

I'm looking at quality and price. Looks like I can get Vortex 4-12 x 50mm for $200 each.

Anyone have a good pulse on the scope market to know when clearances occur, or have any recommendations, aware of any good clearance or deals anywhere? Open to all relevant considerations.

Note, I have a number of smaller caliber rifles outfitted with quality Leupolds, Nikons, etc. in the 3-9x40mm range so I have sub 800 yard ranges covered.
