The problem is as always, it isn’t so much the politicians that are doing the selling of socialism in the US, it is the sad fact that people who aren’t familiar with world history are buying into it. Never has it worked, and it has always led to despotism. Socialism is Communism through the vote. Communism is enslavement to the masses through a gun and controlled by a small elite few who live in luxury while everyone else is reduced to a slave status.
On the other hand, nations where socialism continues to wreak havoc, spur poverty, disease, and crime, like Venezuela, they don’t have much support from capitalism. Fact is that “socialism” only works when it’s paid for by capitalism.
In the fall of 1959, Nikita Khrushchev gave a series of speeches at the UN in New York. In one, he said,
“We are catching up with you in economic progress, and the time is not far distant when we will move into the lead.”
In Russia, that prompted folks to joke:
“When we finally catch up to America, can we get off?”
That Democrats and millennials seem to have no idea about the horrors inflicted on the masses in countries like the Soviet Union and want to go in that direction is scary indeed. Let’s just hope most Americans reject that idea. There won’t be anywhere to get off to if we don’t. As a society, we are led by what the voters want. Regardless of whether it is good for all of us or not. Obama was a criminal organization that was elected by the people and what we got was the “Shaft”. That administration, and those involved with the everyday life of each American is still affecting us in negative ways.
DACA, illegal invasion of the country by people who have no right to be here, open borders, catch and release, untold expenses borne by the taxpayer to support all the many ways we have to pay for those ventures. The give-away of our wealth to our enemies, the treasons that was committed by officials connected to the administration running unchecked and unpunished is a tragic crime and a failure of the voters.
The actual coup d'état perpetrated by high government officials and lawyers connected by the Obama criminal organization are alive and doing well while Americans are hiding behind masks that do nothing, deprived of coming together as groups, can’t attend church, weddings, or funerals, while they do and they’re getting a big laugh at your inconvenience. Never mind the fact that hundreds of thousands have lost their jobs, gone bankrupt, and are looking forward to a software billionaire coming up with an antidote for a virus that kills less people than the flu every year. What amazes me is why the people are going along with this nonsense.
Americans are suffering from the attitude engendered by Obama, “scoffing at the law” today, and it has led to widespread anarchy. Funded in part by some of the billions Obama and his henchmen stole from Americans. Yet, he still walks free among us with Secret Service protection paid by us as he continues to bad mouth America and the current POTUS. He should be in prison awaiting the hangman’s rope.
It is all a result of the voters electing the scum of the population to lead us and to make our laws. I’m wondering, when are we going to get it? Our children are being indoctrinated in a Socialist/Marxist philosophy daily and we are allowing it. We are on the verge of losing our country by the “Domestic Enemy” daily. They enjoy what America offers them and are working feverishly to destroy it from within. By doing nothing, we are empowering them. Does anyone believe Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Occupy Anything and so many other anti-American organizations could have existed in 1955? Could the Communist Party have been considered as a serious contender for anything in America back then? We have been stabbed in the back by our own population, it needs to stop. I believe most of the subverting of popular opinions has grow from Marxist/Communist teachers in our public schools.
These people who are advocating for a new country led by them will not be allowed to be administered by the likes of what they are. The new government they so desperately want will never tolerate their actions once they are in control. They’ll be shot dead in the streets, forcibly removed from their homes in the middle of the night never to be seen again. They will be killed off like cockroaches once the so-called New World Order comes into existence. Children will turn thie parents and friends in when they hear them criticizing those in charge. Yes. it's coming to America.
There will be food shortages, scarse medical treatments and 911 will cease to exist unless you are of the ruling class. The rest of the stupid people who bought into this nonsense will be slaves. People will be crammed into apartment complexes, or living off the land like traveling Gypsy’s except, the people will not have any luxuries. They’ll be grateful for a campfire to warm themselves with, or to cook a freshly caught rat. Our infrastructure will deteriorate, and the cities will become vermin-infested ruins with few services if any at all.
There is an old saying, “Be careful of what you wish for because once that wish becomes a fact, it may not be what you thought it was going to be.”
