There has been a lot of different ammo over the years for defensive use in the AR15/m4. Some get popular for a time, then others get popular. So here it is...
What is your go to ammo for your AR/M4? By "go to" I mean ammo that you would use to defend yourself, in other words not range ammo. If you can please specify if you have a preference one type of round for 1:7 and a different round for 1:10 and etc. If you have a different caliber other than 5.56/.223 feel free to chime in also. Also include why this is your favorite ammo, if you would like to.
This thread isn't about what is the worlds best AR15/M4 defensive ammo. It's about what is the best ammo FOR YOU, not why it is better than someone else's. Hopefully, after sufficient replies, a person that is new to the AR15/M4 world will be able to see what is some of the best ammo for their guns and why.
