mother died for 17 minutes

my mother was hospitalized over the weekend with difficulty breathing, loss of strength, losing consciousness. and my guess was complications do to bloating caused by retained fluids from heart and kidney problems and earlier that day her temp was 95 degrees.. she was in an office chair with wheels so i rolled her out to meet the ambulance who shrugged it off as low blood sugar and did nothing

meanwhile she spent the last few days in the hospital, none of the doctors would look at the heart/kidney issues until earlier today, the last few days they wouldnt even put her on her bpap machine or heart monitor and well wtf knows what theyve been doing to her and the paramedics/hospital lied and said my brother and i left her on our porch alone for a long period of time to try to push their incompetence and responsibility in this matter off on us.. which infuriates me to no end

so today as they were largely ignoring the heart/kidney/bloating problem i told the paramedics to look into in the conversation i had with them that according to them didnt even happen, she died for 17 minutes and they managed to regain a pulse and a decent, stable pulse but she is still unconscious. they did a CT scan now, will slowly cool her down, give her meds, warm her up and take her off the meds and take another CT scan to check brain activity but clearly this is not a good situation at all

17 minutes is a long time, but with her low body temperature and other measures they feel they may have revived her without brain damage but due to the problems that put her in that situation (kidney/bloat/pressure issues) she hasnt regained consciousness on her own.. this is less than a year since my dad died of a massive heart attack at the end of last june

anyway, this is mostly just venting, if anyone has any advice or anything i may like to hear, that would be fine too, just not sure what to think or do at this point and im just still so ****ing angry at the paramedics and hospital for not looking at the issues many of us warned them about, not listening to me or other family members when they said something was wrong, but above all lying to try to cover their own asses
