I've been sitting here the last few nights with swords and battle axes (figuratively) all around me and it got me thinking, are there any legal pitfalls in using edged weapons in self defense? I realise laws differ from state to state, but here's what kinda worries me: edged weapons are much more personal than a firearm and I'm sure a prosecutor can have a field day with that fact.
