This is another knife that I really wanted to l like, but it's shortcomings simply won't allow me to.
The bowie style clip point blade is actually excellent, but sadly it's married to a miserable grip.
The all metal "para" frame means it's dangerously slippery when wet (or God forbid, there's any blood) and it's not very confortable in the hand, especially in cold weather. Also, the liner lock almost requires a pair of pliers to release.
But it's the thumb stud that killed it for me. **** POOR design thru & thru !
The stud sits SOO far back on the blade that it's impossible to gain enough leverage to open the blade with it. So you end u0 with a two hand knife. Two hands to open it, two hands to close it.
No thanks ! Give me a CRKT any day . . . .
