Springfield Range Officer Champion 1911, .45 ACP

Anyone have one of these that they'd like to comment on? I've got my eye on one that's a little easier to carry than a full-size 1911. I think the full size RO is just a bit too large for me to comfortably carry, and the grip on the RO Compact is a bit too short for my hands. The RO Champion is the "goldilocks"...feels just right.

I can get it for a shade under $800...any Kimber fans out there have any recommendations for something comparable? Thanks!
