Need advice on selling ammo

Hey Guys – I need some advice on selling some of my ammo.

I’ve been out of work for a few months and have been living off my savings and my preps.

I had been managing OK until I had a darn tooth abscess on me.

I don’t have any friends or family who are able to loan me the money I need, or to buy any of my guns or ammo. (Already asked.)

There is a well-established flea market nearby. There is a booth there that always has all kinds of ammo, holsters, tazers, etc. on display. (He also has guns in the back that he sells, but you have to ask about them.) I have seen him buy ammo and guns from what looks like just regular shoppers at the flea market, but it could have been someone he knew. Is it crazy for me to consider asking him if he’d buy some of my ammo?

From what I remember, his price is about 75% - 80% of the cost at a store. I was thinking of asking about half of the store cost – that would still let him make a profit.

So, what do you think? Good idea? Crazy? Illegal? Stupid?
