So I am new to ARs and have been asking a million questions lately, I have a front A2 sight that seconds as my gas block on my new rifle, I am going to be getting a red dot and co-witness it with the A2, now my question is, I took the firearm to shoot for the first time yesterday and the sight(no rear, just the front A2) was obviously shooting higher than the target because the sight is higher than the exit point(barrel) of the bullet.
How the hell do you fix or accomodate for that. I was shooting at milk jugs about 50 yards away and kept hitting below or above them without the red dot(in the mail) and ONLY the front A2 sight. I have seen lots of people run red dots with the front A2 sight and shoot good groups, so what is the trick?
Let's block ads! (Why?)
