Minimum caliber to engage a car?

With the steady increase of Muslims using cars/trucks/vans to try and run people on sidewalks over, in your opinion what is the best caliber and round to engage a bad guy behind the wheel?

I am guessing that the 9mm hollow point that is my typical concealed carry round isn't the best choice. FMJ? Bigger caliber?

Never had to shoot at a car before but the way things are going we may live to see that change.
