PR-24, nightstick, baton, sap discussion continued from another thread

sometimes there mere presence deters folks...

i once stopped a fellow in his tracks to obey by just snapping open a 24" ASP steel baton, total compliance to move along.....

one of the major issues for .civ is training vs .le, they know where to strike, been trained/certified to strike, most .civ have not, and any good PA/DA/lawyer will use that and say .civ is just banging away with a stick....
