I watch less tv today than last year and a lot less than 5 years ago but I still like Nascar and Supercross/Motocross (I'm able to stream motorcycle racing at my convenience for about $50).
Last year I switched from Directv to Dish, it's been positive experience but I'll be looking to switch and save next year. Directv and Dish are both fairly reasonable until you get the DVR.
Any good inexpensive TV options with DVR capabilities?
