better option for CB antenna

well, in need of some opinions here, currently using a hustler cb antenna butcant get it down below 3.0:1 even with trimming and lengthening the mast(probably burnt coil or broken).

what are the better options out there?...

working with a uniden bearcat 980ssb with the antenna mounted at the side of the school bus(height problems)..
