In 2011, a major television event occurred on PBS. Word on Fire productions new series explaining the Catholic Faith "Catholicism" with then Father Robert Barron, aired 6 episodes on PBS. The series is still available on Amazon and other vendors, including Word on Fire. It is a beautiful, artistic tour de force which takes the viewer on a tour of Christendom through Catholic eyes. With Father Barron (now a Bishop in Los Angeles), we explore many historic sites of the Church's history, and multiple worldwide locations where Catholics live and worship, and discusses the teachings of this ancient, but vibrant and living Faith.
Here is Episode 6. I highly recommend you watch the entire thing. The first 10 minutes or so of this video are a commercial for the whole series. Then the actual episode begins. Enjoy!
