Retired justice Stevens recent comments on repealing the Second Amendment reveal something about him. He is actually stating the Second Amendment is actually what it states, otherwise why the need to completely erase it? I think he found out that beating around the bush trying to justify restrictions, he decided that since it is really what it states, get rid of it.
I know it has been stated before, but too many people think this amendment gives us the right to be armed, but it really restricts the government from infringing on our right to bear arms. We now know that the truth is out, the people against guns want them all.
