Someone is going to post "They are all accurate, derp, derp."
My Palmetto State Armory Freedom mid-length upper has "ok" accuracy with 50 grain bullets. But as the bullet weight goes up, accuracy goes down.
American Eagle gave the vest results for over the counter testing:
American Eagle 50 grain tipped varmint – 1 inch
American Eagle 50 grain hollow point – 1 inch
American Eagle 62 grain XM855 gave the worst results with a 5 inch group at 100 yards.
I thought about getting something like a Spikes, or Bravo Company, but wanted to ask about the accuracy.
1 inch groups at 100 yards is fine, but 5 inch is not acceptable. Needless to say I will not be buying any more PSA Freedom uppers.
So, someone recommend a decent, cost effective AR-15 upper receiver.
Or maybe I should just buy a Colt 6920 or a S&W MP?
Accurate AR-15 upper?
