Friends: Example of benefits?

Sounds like you haven't BEEN a friend. From my experience and observation you cannot get it back until you put it in.
(Yes, some won't measure up, but others will.)

When your broken down and need someone to come get you and your vehicle.
When you need help building something
When you want to buy something and split the volume of the risks
When you want to go do something that's more fun not alone.
When your hurt and they need to do for you.

Right now I'm driving over to my friends house, feeding their animals, collecting their mail, I'm told someone would charge $80+\day. I'm doing it for free. Takes over an hour every day for over 3 weeks as they are on vacation. I did it last year and (as much as a PITA as it is for me with my limited time 'up' and how much driving on bad roads hurts) I'm willing to do it again next year.

They need money they just need to say how many zeros.
How many people would you do that for?

(This is leaving out buddies I was in Iraq with. Buddy I offered to switch positions with because his was the more dangerous one and he was engaged and I had no one.
....and he turned me down.)
Those buddies... You don't have to worry about trusting with your life, because you've done it hundreds of times.
They can come here and are welcome even if I'm down to my last pound of beans.

I don't have many friends. I am a friend to many more people than who are friends to me.... But for my friends....
