Opinions on a bargain .243 Win

I need to purchase a .243 Win. It will be used by me, my wife and my 20 year old daughter.... mainly for White Tail hunting.

I own a .270 Win in the Ruger American and the gun is darn impressive especially since I got it for less than $300. Honest to God sub-MOA.

I purchased my son-in-law a Mossberg Patriot in .308 and wasn't impressed, although I never shot the gun. Too dinky and little feeling..... Pencil barrel.

Both Savage and the Remington are just pain ugly to me.

That's my experience and my opinion....

I see that Browning has a $100 off of their offering through the end of the month. I am intrigued.....

But I am interested in real-life experience with bargain bolt actions.
