As a member of a few forums, one of my favorites is SB politics subforum.

Some background.

I was a dirty naive idealistic liberal and voted for Clinton in 92/96 (my first two elections) back when, to be fair, Clinton came in as a moderate who talked a good game.

I later got a job, learned the world, and Clinton's repulsive behavior turned me to vote Bush in 2000 and GOP thereafter.

I was in the Army in Iraq when Obama was elected in 2009. I was disgusted and shocked. It was a VERY hard 8 years. I will say that I was so dis-heartened. I will candidly say that I was in the service during part of Obama's terms, and his Presidency is part of the reason I left the service - I was so disgusted with him as CIC. I might still be in if things had turned out differently.

Oddly, Obama was the ying that gave us the yang of Trump.

Trump has saved our nation, for the time being. I'll skip the list we all know, but these last 2 years, and again today, has snapped me out of the depression known as the Obamession. Obama was such a disaster, as reflected by the 1000 lost seats...

Anyway, these last couple years cheering with fellow like minded Trump lovers has been great for me. Tonight I'm raising a glass to our new 8th and 9th SCOTUS Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, and the 26 other Judges he's appointed, and all the other accomplishments of Trump.

This week alone, Trump's approval hit 51% at Rasmussen, we have a new better trade deal with Mex/Can, and he stuck with Kav who will be a great Justice for our rights.
