45 Colt Conversion Cylinder

Is a Conversion cylinder for BP revolvers a worth while investment?

I'm looking at getting one for a Ruger old Army in the hopes it breathes a little life back into the old revolver and adds some much needed versatility. What say you...I'm already set up to cast and reload 45 Colt so it's not like I'm starting out from scratch.
