I picked up some .30 Carbine out of an estate sale today. At 13 cents a round I figured that they would be worth the components. Some of the boxes were partials that I consolidated. I started to throw out the boxes and decide to look them up as I had never seen any like them.
I was surprised to see the several years ago someone paid $20 for one of the boxes in worse shape with 13 nasty looking rounds in them. (Mine look fine. 
)
Just wonder if that was a fluke of if these boxes have any value? (other than holding the ammo together. 
)
