Had to shoot inside an enclosed metal barn tonight without any protection. It was not kind on my ears and I've got a nasty head/ear ache and some mild ringing. Anyone got any tips on how to alleviate the temporary discomfort? I figure this board has a few people who have had plenty of experience with this.
I've had experience being out in the open with unprotected ears, but that's not usually a problem beyond a few seconds of ringing before things return to normal. The difference in environment means it's still ringing and actually hurting a few hours later.
