Help diagnose lawn - purplish whiteish frosty grass patches.

This just popped up a week ago in the backyard.

LIttle areas about 6 to 8 inches in diameter of something disfiguring the grass.

Almost looks like purple frost. Except it is 90 degrees and humid out.

It is under the pecan tree without a lot of air flow, as it is surrounded by houses and garages on 3 sides.

I assume this is some sort of fungus, mold or mildew.

What is it and how do I kill it?

So far, about a dozen patches have appeared.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
