Henry .22 smoothbore "garden"gun

I learn something new everyday.Just saw an ad for this,smoothbore in thier classic lever rifle.Designed for .22 shotshells,tighter pattern than rifled barrel.I'm guessing you could use regular bullets with reduced accuracy.

At 429$,I don't need/want one..maybe for 250,just because.

Not sure if its practical,gimmick,niche gun,but something I've never seen before.

Not sure if its an old concept in .22,or others have done it.Its interesting,whatca ya'll think?
