LE Vehicle License Plates & Spidey Sense Tingling

I have an observation and question for the LEO's active/former here:

Aren't all LE vehicles supposed to have an actual tag, associated with the vin/make/model/etc?

My good buddy, former LEO himself noticed that the squad car Chauvin was near, had a generic license plate that read "police" is that odd?

Go back over the video, its plain as day, but here is a scrn shot i captured..

He thinks, and i agree, that there is more afoot with this supposed murder, that it has other implications..

Whatever the implication were, they are here now in living color..

Pallets of bricks, and firebombs magically appear, all manner of very coordinated action, and nary a response from politicians and such...
