I was wondering if permanently F'd up places like North Korea might be good live action labs on survival in a shtf? Its almost neo-fuedalism under crushing tyranny. Poor food, non-existant healthcare, a pampered micro-elite propped up by a large isolated military. Like the live action version of the book 1984, on steriods. Worth a look? They fertlize their crops with thier own crap.... literally.
