Rough Country 5" Lift

Any lift more than a couple inches is going to be invasive if it's done right. Ball joints, CVs, tie-rods etc can only accommodate so much of an angle.

And many types of suspension are designed to dynamically change camber and toe as the suspension travels to give better turning performance and so when you lift or lower, you change the entire alignment and may put it out of range of the existing camber bolts.

The only way to get more clearance without angling your CVs is to use bigger tires as otherwise you are just lifting the body but dropping your diffs to maintain angles and ending up with the same axle clearance.

But you can do a lot with a SMALL spacer lift and bigger tires without getting to deep in.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
