Fort McMurray Inferno. How to prep for wildfire/emergency evac.

I know it's a little late to help good people of Fort McMurray, but perhaps there is something to be learned by all this destruction and sadness.

What are some major things to have ready in case of an evac order. Aside from obviously a basic BOB and some supporting gear.

This is based on the premise that the evac order is mandatory, and you have maybe 2-3 hours to get out.

What should be priority outside your BOB and family?

I think this would be mine, in order of priority.

I would have a secondary supply bag (sorta like an inch bag) packed with food and supplies, as well as all my financial records, house deed and insurance documents, and vehicles supporting documents (insurance, registration, copy of license) and all my firearms license and registration paperwork. All in addition to already having a copies on a thumb drive in the BOB.

A separate drive for all my photo's and keepsake memories.

My motorcycle and all its gear loaded onto my trailer.

Everything else can burn and claim insurance on. Any input would be appreciated.
