Please, anyone who knows more about this than I do (which shouldn't be hard), correct me or offer a little insight

Intelligence in Your Local Community
First off, I have absolutely no experience with intelligence (get your laughs in now). I had originally desired to take a Guerilamerica course but now that site is offline, so I’m approaching this as a total noob.
However, based on what I’ve learned, there is a five-step intelligence cycle.
1.) Planning, Requirements, and Direction
2.) Collection
3.) Analysis and Processing
4.) Production
5.) Dissemination
This post will hopefully (provided I stick with this) work as a lesson that we (providing other people are interested) can complete as a group, based on our collective requirements.

If we ask ourselves what the largest threat to our communities is, as of this moment, I believe most of us would say racial violence, primarily perpetrated by the New Black Panther Party or other militant black groups. Therefore, my local (or yours!) black militant groups will be the subject of this intelligence operation.

Planning, Requirements, and Direction
The plan for this operation is to conduct (primarily) Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) on the black militant groups in my area. By OSINT, I mean intelligence information that is readily available online.
What are the intelligence requirements of this operation?
1.) To understand the organization of the groups in my area.
2.) To assess their capabilities.
3.) To assess their intentions.

Next, I will post (loosely) what I collected over the course of a couple hours.
