Matches vs Lighters for bugout bag

Sometimes lighters don't work when it gets really cold out.

So I pack 2 lighters, 50 matches divided in two separate water proof containers and a flint and steel.

The weight and space is very little so why not go a little overboard to make sure your food is warm and you don't freeze.
