JW's knocking on my door

For some reason,where I live now,I get them knocking on my door once or twice a month.
I'm polite and tell them I already have a church I attend.They are polite,try to give me a tract,and leave.

I don't have the Bible memorized,or know much about other religons.

I'm sure there are passages about converting people or spreading the word.

I think I've had a few Mormons also.

So question 1 is..what is written that compells them to go door to door.

question 2 is..why don't other religons do it..never had a Jew,or muslim,or Catholic knock on my door.

(This isn't a rant,or complaint..just curious)
