Why Gertrude the Great is so incredibly Great.

I find saints like her immensely fascinating for the closeness they achieved to Christ in this life.
All the insights into the spiritual life that Gertrude learned and explained can't be truly appreciated.
When showing atheists and other denominations these insights, they seem to grasp the reality of the spiritual economy that they have never experienced before.
