Well, I pulled the trigger - NRA

I belong to a local gun club, NRA membership is required. Having a membership in this gun club allows me to purchase from CMP, (Civilian Marksmanship Program). Bought a nice Garand, ammo, other stuffs over the years through the CMP.

NRA has helped the club with a grant, club holds NRA sanctioned matches. I've done NRA qualifications, both rifle and pistol using the club ranges.

NRA is big enough, with member support, to get politicians attention. Don't know of any other gun advocacy organizations that can do that. Not saying there isn't any, just I don't know of any.
