Stay put or move out?

Well, depends on what natural and man made threats exist in your area and ultimately, upon what actually happens.

I'd say go to FEMA and check the maps on the threats in your area. If there's flooding, make sure you live above the highest water mark in your area. It there are tornados, consider options for protection, etc.,

Ironically, I chose an area that's pretty darn good...but a neighborhood near mind deteriorated and my threat became human beings.
