Kizlyar Sensei d2 satin quick look.

Hey everyone thought i would have a quick overview and some thoughts on this new knife i purchased recently.

Its a Russian made blade called a sensei in d2 satin, cost me $147au on special.

Here are the specs-

As you can see, it is quite long and has plenty of blade and reach.
My thoughts are that it is very well balanced handle v blade, the grip is well comfortable being a slightly rubberised texture and the thumb/forefinger cutaways make for a perfect grip.

I have tried it on some cured hardwood and it is a good chopper, no problems, the blade is viciously sharp after some swipes on the hard polishing stone i have, and although i gave it a bit of a hiding on the wood, it retained its edge almost perfectly.

This is not the sort of knife you want to be lacksadaisical with or not be paying attention whilst using, it is one vicious vicious knife and can do some real serious home surgery if one dont watch out.

The only issue ive found is the side of the handles rubs on the entrance to the plastic sheath and have noticed some very slight discolouration that may lead to wear, i dont think its a huge bother though, it holds very securely in its sheath so thats a real plus, you wouldnt want this thing falling out at the wrong time, believe me!!!

Overall i love this knife, its sensational and a true tactical s.o.b brutal piece of metal gear, absolutely deadly.

I didnt buy the black d2 version as it was 40$ more expensive and im not some closet urban ninja what goes around decapitating people i just want it for my collection and camping thats it, and maybe zombies in the future if necessary.

Im snapping knives up i think will become collectors pieces in the future or classics, this is one i firmly believe will become just that, and it wasnt expensive, but is very well made of good d2 steel.

I know kizlyar are not the best knives in the world, however, i love the blade/handle shapes on some of there knives, thats REALLY important to me, as well as good steel, good edge shape and good feel, good balance, this knife has all that in spades for under 200 smackoes.

Its a killer. Literally.

I am not afiliated with Kizlyar in any way shape or form, never heard of them only a month ago lol, got to hand it to the ruskies on this one.

I hope my gentleman friends and anyone else too enjoyed my quick overview on S/B of this new knife.
Thanks for reading.
