So for those of you that don't me...I'm CHEAP! Yep, I admit it. That's why I'm looking into the compact model mobile radios. I need 2 of them. One for each Jeep. I've seen a B-tech UV-2501 and QYT KT-8900. I'm specifically looking for small because of the space I have to mount them. Are either of these worth the 80-100 bucks they cost. If not, does anyone out there have any experience with a compact model that is worth a hoot? Needs to be dual band/dual monitor and the ability to add CTCSS codes for repeaters. Thanks
