Hello from Alabama

Welcome back. It's a good community. I'm kind of a black sheep here but don't really care.

What made you NOT be prepared - or were you always but just not focused on it? And it's probably best if we didn't need to be. Just sayin.

I drifted through life and managed ok. Not even thinking about why or how I needed to protect myself or my family. Life was easy. Get up. Go to work. Come home. Eat dinner. Repeat.

I woke up a few years ago. And now I'm ok if I flip a light switch and the lights don't go on.

I've got a long way to go - but it's a journey I'm good with. Welcome to another path.
