Medical Readiness

Howdy Everyone,

I am new to the site and have a couple questions which i hope can be answered here.

Ever since I was a kid being prepared has always been the name of the game. Now with most survival equipment that isn't to hard. You have cash you get what you want. Plain and simple. But when it comes to medical supplies, there is only so far you can go without being a licensed medical professional before people start rejecting your requests. I can understand this sometimes. Sure, you don't want someone struggling with an addiction having total access to any drug they could possibly imagine. But on the other hand if i can purchase a BVM (Bag Valve Mask) the thing paramedics use to breath for you while not in the hospital, why in the heck can't i purchase replacement masks for the BVM. YOU ALREADY SOLD ME THE BVM WHICH HAS A MASK WHY CAN'T I HAVE A SPARE OR TWO!?!?

That being said, My question to the group here is does anyone know how i can get medical supplies such as Saline I.V. bags, Ringers Lactate, Dextrose (D50), Epinephrine, etc.

I have two extremely well stocked medical kits. When i say extremely well stocked, I mean both kits are fully prepared to perform surgery on multiple patients with continuous multi-parameter monitoring (5-lead ECG, NIBP, SPo2, TEMP, PI, CO2SAT, RESP) along with a full sterile operating field. Which also includes all surgical instruments scalpels to hemostats and I.V. lines.

But where i am stuck is medications as i pointed out before. I am sure no one would want to go under the knife without some local or general anesthetic. Or if someone is dehydrated I would need saline or ringer lactate to rehydrate them.

In summary, I have every possible medical device you could possibly imagine. Yes even the one you are thinking of right now! I promise! I just need to find a way to be fully stocked on basic medications as if i were a outpatient surgical facility or a hospital. Where the medications would not be prescribed to me they would just be waiting to be prescribed to a patient in need. Of course, in an end of world emergency i wouldn't be writing a script I would just be performing every possible medical procedure to save lives, but you understand my meaning I hope.
