Berkley Post Filter on Aqua Rain?

Supposedly Aqua Rain was going to come out with a "post" filter similar to the Berkley white filter that removes arsenic and fluoride; however, that has yet to occur.

Love the Aqua Rain; but would love it more if and when they have come out with the new post filters.

In the meantime, my question is this:
Has anyone tried to adapt the Berkley arsenic/fluoride post filers onto a Aqua Rain? ----- I realize the thread size is different, but is there any reason why some kind of adapter or even a rubber connection with hose clamps could work?
