CCI Quiets .22 & Semi auto?

Does anyone have first hand experience with using CCI's "Quiet" rounds with a semi auto .22 rifle or pistol...do you get reliable function?

I have been using the quiets out of a single shot bolt action, and love that they really are quiet, but the lack of a quick follow up shot is a problem.

This is a garden pest control issue in a suburban/residential area...I need the quiet rounds, (and I don't have a suppressor, or plans to jump through the hoops anytime soon)

I'd love to get a .22 pistol for this issue as it would also double as a good training/plinking gun. Not sure if the quiets would cycle in a semi auto pistol, nor how much louder it would become.

Other choice is a new .22 rifle...a semi auto ruger or marlin would be ideal...but not if they don't eat the .22 Quiets. If I'm stuck with manual action I don't mind, but I need faster follow up shots.
