In 2016, there were 720 recorded attacks

The statement in the header which is part of the Al Jazera article made me absolutely stop and say W the proverbial F is going on with our brothers and sisters across the pond. These are not just recorded attacked, these are recorded ACID attacks. 720 in a single year in a single country.

I'm currently looking up the states here in the states as I've not heard of an acid attack here in some time but now curious but this is absolutely crazy!
