I was just in Bentonville, Arkansas and had the opportunity to stop in at Russell Knives. I purchased a nice Gents Hunter II folding lock back. Knife looks almost too nice to use - almost.
Anyway the salesperson was a nice older guy who went out of his way showing me knives in the displays. I asked to see the hunter model and he remarked that it was the smoothest model he ever developed. At this point I realized my salesman was A G Russell himself. Quite an honor to talk shop with the old guy. Definitely the highlight of my trip down to my retirement property!
