Care after applying a TQwe all know that a tourniquet is a great tool to stop massive hemorrhage. We are told to apply and in the field and let the hospital take it off because it is not good for the blood in the lower half of the extremity to enter the blood stream as it can kill you. So I’m a survival scenario where no advanced medical care is available do we just apply the TQ and take off the limb?
