A couple questions on SS barrels for an AR15?

Ive been considering building a SPR or Recce style upper but i was curious about a couple things in regards to the ss barrel.

Is it ok to rapid fire with a ss barrel? can it take a mag dump or two without damaging the barrel?

How durable and how many rounds can you generally put through them before they are shot out?

Id like something similar to my basic rifles (Colt 6920s) but with better accuracy and the spr/ recce builds seem to make sense.
