I bought this little guy http://ift.tt/2rvRIVV as a back up rig, and to use in my wifes new auto w/out having to permanently mount an antenna or rig, or run power to battery.
This came with a cig lighter plug, normal t connector too, bracket, mic, misc stuff.
I added the nagoya whip magmount antenna and usb programming cable too.
DOES NOT use the normal 2 pin cable...
Takes a normal so-239 connector, has speaker out and a data port for using chirp.
This is perfect for a rental car, friends car, etc. My wife does not like to take road trips in my suv as i have oversized all terrain tires and they make noise...her car is very quiet and we plan to use it more for road trips and i wanted to have comms along the way.
This would make a great go kit rig too.
Easy to program thru mic or chirp, great speaker, have nothing bad to say about it.
price is 115.00....cant beat it...
