28 gauge shotguns

Lately I have been enjoying 28 gauge shotguns for skeet and small game hunting. Certainly lt leaves a lot more meat on the bone for squirrels, rabits, doves and others.
Have taken them on Pheasant hunts, but never had a shot with them running on the ground and not kicking up. My dog is just not smart enough to know his job yet.
The safe still has the 12 gauges and my one 20 gauge, for bigger jobs.

Anyone out there hunt with a 28 gauge?
