eating fertilized eggs bad?

Whenever I talk about my chickens,my know it all boss says the same thing.
Eating a chicken egg when a rooster is around is bad/dangerous for your health.
I don't know the exact biology of it,but I have 2 roosters and 10 hens.I collect the eggs,a few times I'll let then hatch out.So I assume all the eggs are "fertilized"?

I googled it and didn't find anything saying it was bad.

Is this an old myth,or has anyone ever heard something like this?

I justwhen he says this,but it does have me curious.
