I have grown onions for years. I have always used onion sets. You know, the sets sold at the local farm store. I want to try using onion seeds. Have you raised onions from seeds? Do you save your own seeds? What variety do you raise?
My onions have been nice, but they don' t keep as long as I would like. After some research, I found that most onions we raise are not good keepers. Hmmmm
And onion seed is a little hard to find. Especially, long keepers.
