Prepping Getting More Widespread?

They never DID say what was "disturbing" about prepping.

Do you know which businesses do better than others during a recession? Hardware stores. People repair their own stuff and vacation in their back yards. By that yardstick, more people are concerned about the ability of the country to remain stable, and I suppose THAT concept would disturb anybody. Even the writer of the article. That might be why he used the word "disturbing"

That being said, the feed store promised to have their seeds set up today, and I am off to buy some.

I wonder how "disturbed" the writer would be if he knew a lot of preppers did not buy Costco freeze dried food? There are far more of us than he figures who worry about such things. Some of us have not forgotten how many months the power was out after Hurricane Katrina. And then there is the fact that the power grid is getting old.....
